Are we willing to be still long enough to see ourselves clearly?

On a walk with no destination, I caught my own reflection in the mirror of a car. I had not been looking for it. For a moment it simply held me there, looking back at myself.

Why do contrasting colors feel calming instead of chaotic?

I kept coming back to this corner today. A tall cactus reaching up out of a plain terracotta pot, a bright blue Talavera figure standing on one side, and a small stack of worn cookbooks on the other. Nothing in it matches, and yet I could not stop looking at it.

I came across a glass bottle placed upside down in a garden. Instead of holding a drink, it was slowly watering the soil.

Why does chaos sometimes feel more alive than perfection?

I took this photo at the dock today. At first glance, it is just a collection of random objects. A trash can, chains, ropes, wires, and tools. None of them seem like they belong together.
